Our Shellty Pro Care fabric is an innovative polyester textile with a waterproof, antimicrobial, breathable and soft-touch repellent coating. Our product is entirely manufactured in Portugal, by national companies.

Shellty Pro Care offers the comfort of a clean and sanitized bed, with a pleasant touch and easy placement, which will allow you to have a peaceful and safe rest, with antimicrobial features.

Using traditional cotton sheets involves frequently changing them and using waterproof mattress protectors/covers to keep the bed clean. With movement, these can become loose and wrinkled, causing discomfort and interfering with the quality of rest.

Shellty Pro Care is hydrophobic and waterproof, that is, it repels fluids, preventing them from being absorbed by the mattress, making it easier to clean organic and inorganic fluids without having to change your clothes immediately.

We recommend washing your Shellty Pro Care in the washing machine, at a maximum temperature of 30ºC to avoid shrinkage or damage to the fabric, using a mild detergent without bleach. As for drying, avoid direct and prolonged sun exposure. Choose to dry your Shellty with the side opposite the membrane facing up, in a cool, shaded place. If you prefer to use the dryer, choose, once again, low temperatures. Shellty Pro Care allows you more practicality in everyday life, as it does not require ironing, however, if you prefer to do so, you must use low temperatures, without steam and only iron on the side opposite the membrane.

No, you will only need Shellty Pro Care to protect your mattress.

Shellty Pro Care does not have any type of contraindications. The fabric has been extensively tested and is certified by Infarmed; our fabric has even been tested for biocompatibility and has been proven to be in permanent contact with the skin, without cause damage to it or any open wounds that the user may have.

Yes! Our sheet adapts to all types of mattresses. With our stoppers adjustment system, it will allow the adaptation and fixation of the fabric to both the anti-bedsore mattress and the bed mattress.

Blood contains iron compounds that can stick to tissue fibers and be difficult to remove. If you spill blood on your Shellty Pro Care, we recommend that you wash it immediately with cold water. Remember: with blood stains you should avoid hot water and the use of whiteners!

When encountering a spill of any type of fluid (sweat, waste, water or food, etc.), you must immediately remove the dirt with a dry cloth. Then, use a damp cloth to remove any remaining dirt and dry your Shellty again with another dry cloth. If you want to eliminate any odors that may come from these spills, we suggest using Shellty Neutral.

Make sure Shellty Pro Care is completely dry and store in a clean, dry place to avoid moisture build-up. If possible, use fabric or vacuum bags to protect them.

Shellty Pro Care fabric is not flame retardant, therefore, any damage that may result from the use of electric blankets is not covered by the warranty. Using these types of blankets can reduce the lifespan of the Shellty and even your mattress.

The Shellty SildeSheet allows the caregiver to move, position and also transfer the user. This sheet helps and facilitates the caregiver to make the necessary movements in the bed.

Yes. It is essential that it is used by people qualified in mobilizing people or by people who have training for this purpose.

Yes. It can be used for users with normal weight or bariatrics. It is made of our high quality fabric, which provides a low friction transfer, and allows the user to glide easily even after prolonged use. It is waterproof and hydrophobic, allowing for easy cleaning.

Shellty Neutral is a fragrance-free, colorless odor inhibitor that will neutralize unwanted odors and can be used across the rest of the Shellty range to eliminate bad odors after fluid spills.

After removing excess dirt from the Shellty sheet, simply spray with Shellty Neutral and wipe gently with a microfiber cloth to remove excess fluids.

No, Shellty Neutral does not clean stains on Shellty sheets, it only neutralizes odors from spills that may occur. For adequate hygiene, it is necessary to clean the area or surface before applying Shellty Neutral, preferably with a cloth.
